UTD Rec 3

During the course theories are decompression outposts and the use of correct procedures of ascent in addition to the identification/resolution of problems.

In this class, the students will learn the possible problems derived from the use of a bottle or bibottle, how to use Nitrox and Helitrox to remain more time at heart and the helium use to diminish narcosis, CO2, the density of gas and the “nitrogen stress” post diving.

The course of diving UTD Rec 3 is normally carried out in a period of 3-4 days, in the open sea implies a minimum of 30 hours of formation including theoretical sessions, sessions of swimming pool/confined waters and immersions to 39m using Helitrox 25/25 as breathable gas. The final immersions are “immersions of experience” where the student will pomndrá in practice his new abilities under the supervision of the instructor.

One is a course within the limits of nondecompression that it looks for to prepare to the divers for immersions of until 39m without procedures of accelerated decompression.

For whom it is this course?
Rec 3 takes advantage of the knowledge learned in previous courses. The course is designed for the recreational divers who wish to take the final step in this type of diving without having to make obligatory decompression. In other words, it is for those divers who want to remain within the limits of recreational diving of 39m using mixtures enriched with helium (Helitrox 25/25).

Why it would have to make this course?
This course represents the following passage for which it wants to learn to dive comfortably with helium between 30m/39m without taking bottles of deco or of stage and without entering decompression.

UTD Rec 3 - Technical Diving in the Heradura

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • To have realised the course of diving UTD Rec 2, Essentials Rec and Nitrox, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 50 immersions after the Water Open, 25 of which they must be immersions “not of course”.

Limits of the course:

  • The maximum depth is of 39m.
  • The gases standard are 32 Nitrox and Helitrox 25/25.
  • Without stops of decompression.
  • Without surroundings “under ceiling”.
